Emotion Vietnam bridging the gap for remote children in northwest Vietnam

Children in remote areas northern Vietnam are still living in extreme hardship and poverty. Books and schools are luxury to them as they are too busy with helping parents earn a living or taking care of younger siblings. Even if they are allowed to go to school, they usually quit soon due to lack of money and other necessary resources.

With a view to bridging the gap between urban and rural/remote children in Vietnam, Emotion Vietnam has taken an initiative called “Hành trang cho em”. The program calls for donations of used books, clothing, shoes, toys, etc to distribute to Ha Giang children in preparations for their upcoming new school year. It will also raise community awareness about children right and illuminate hope for a better future for them.
